Meet Anthony.
Anthony is from small, farm-town, Oxford, Iowa: population 700, and graduated from Clear Creek Amana High School in Tiffin, Iowa. While obtaining his Associate's Degree in Theatre from Kirkwood Community College, Anthony received his first Irene Ryan acting nomination from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF) for his stage portrayal of Alexis Voinov in The Just Assassins, and named the Arts & Humanities Department's Outstanding Student.
While completing his Bachelor's degree in Theatre at St. Ambrose University, Anthony received his second and third acting nominations for his stage portrayals as Prep in Columbinus, and Tony in the world-premiere of The Plagiarists, respectively. It was competing with this third, and final, acting nomination that Anthony won the title of being the 2013 Regional Irene Ryan Winner for Best Actor of Region 5 (1st of 325) by outperforming 325 current or newly graduated theatre students from a seven-state region, obtaining an invitation to perform nationally at The Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. (top 16 of 2000)
Anthony worked professionally in Chicago for five years, where he won two of three Best Lead Actor film nominations for his performance as Noah in Nesting Grounds, as well as a Best Supporting Actor win for his work in Where She Lay.
Anthony can be seen in his feature film debut as Ellis in Spiral; as Abolitionist, James Thome, in Sons & Daughters of Thunder, which earned three Mid-America Emmy® nominations; as well as in the award-winning short film, My Best Girl. Most recently, Anthony has completed filming lead role, Antonio, in the pilot episode of a new series pitch, Complete Bull, gaining SAG-AFTRA eligibility.
